How to Draw a Geek

Start off by drawing the large head guide, then draw the torso as well as the facial guidelines and limbs.

Up next, draw in her square style eyeglass frames like so.

Add the lens' to her glasses, then proceed to step four.

We will now proceed with drawing her eyes but just the top lids. Add some lashes too then draw the nose and mouth.

One eye is winking so you will just need to draw the right eye completely. When that is done add the eyebrows, then proceed to step six.

All we have to do here is draw in the parted hairstyle which will fall straight down the sides of her body.

In this step all you have to do is draw the face shape. As you can see it is angled.

Begin the drawing process for her hand that is touching the side of her face.

Add the pinkie, and when you do this make sure to draw the pinkie in a bending pose or curled in pose.

Add two more fingers. Now that more of her hand is drawn in, you can see what she is doing. It looks as though she is adjusting her glasses.

Add the temple parts of the glasses, then move to step twelve.

Let's get started with the torso. Draw the skinny shape of her neck, then draw some of her torso which is also the breast.

Draw in her left hand which is making the peace symbol gesture. Add detailing to the fingers, then move to step fourteen.

Draw in both arm shapes, then move to step fifteen.

We will finish her hair by sketching out the shape of the head. This is also the geek's hairstyle. It should be long, straight and bouncy at the bottom.

Almost done folks. Draw the rest of her torso shape which should also be curvy. Add the wrinkle in her back, then some of her hips.

For the last step all you have to do is draw in the length of her hair which rests on her back, then add the V lined shirt collar, and the pockets on her jeans. Erase the mistakes and guides as well.

Here is the line art when you are finished. Now all you have to do is have fun coloring this geek in.

Description: I don't want anyone to get offended by the title of this lesson because it is not being made for that purpose. I wanted to do a lesson on "how to draw a geek" because my whole family is full of geeky people. My brother is a computer geek, my little brother is a gaming geek, and my parents are both geeks as am I. I think this drawing came out wicked cool because of the drawing style and because of this geeky or nerdy girl's style. If you like following tutorials like the one you see here, you should have a fun experience with drawing a geek/nerd. I will be back in a bit so stay tuned in people.
