How To Draw a Full Body Dragon

1

Start with the guidelines for the dragon's head. Don't forget the guides for the eye and nostril.

2

Now add in the basic shapes of the chest, and foreleg muscles, as well as the thick base of the wing branching off of the shoulder.

3

Now add in the ridge of the back, slightly arched upward, as well as the wing's skeleton. Remember that a basic and more realistic dragon, usually has 4 "fingers", in this picture, the dragon is quite relaxed, so I made his wings slightly folded down

4

Now you can add in the shapes of the rest of the legs and the line for the underbelly. Don't go into too much detail with the feet at this step, as you can add your own details to your final drawing later on.

5

In this step, add in the length of the tail. Since I want this dragon to look majestic and proud, I made the tail curve upwards. Also add in the rock formation it is perched on.

6

Now, using your guidelines, complete a final drawing adding whatever kind of toes, horns, spines, scales, or tail tips you would like on your dragon! I hope you enjoyed and feel free to make requests! I hope this helped and that you enjoyed this tuto
