How to Draw a Christmas Flower

Draw a small seed like circle in the center of your paper. Add the lines that are squiggly for the poinsettia leaves.

Next, make a cluster of beads for the center of the poinsettia flower or plant like so.

Begin draw the petals for the poinsettia like so. The petals are wavy lined as they are a crinkle style bloom.

Add more petals start with three like so, then draw in the last one.

Detail the poinsettia petals like so, then proceed to step six.

End this lesson by drawing the leaves. Add detailing to the surface of the leaves like so, then erase whatever mistakes you made.

Here is the finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can grab your red and green colored crayons, markers, or pencils and start adding some color to the drawing.

Description: Like with the wreath, here is a lesson where you will be learning "how to draw a Christmas flower" known as the poinsettia. These pretty flowers or plants come in green, red and gold or yellow. Those are the colors that I am most familiar with. I would love to have live Poinsettia's in my house, but we have dogs and these plants are highly toxic to canine animals or dogs. Because of this we go with fake plants. Anyways, the flower is pretty basic. All you will do is draw the bloom and leaves. Have fun with drawing a poinsettia and I will be back tomorrow with more lessons for you all. Peace out amigos.
