How to Draw a Bat Skeleton

1

Make the outlined shape for your bat skeleton's head like so. It sort of looks like a small mushroom.

2

Next, draw in the shapes of eye sockets, followed by the colored in nostril holes. Add three lines for the teeth.

3

All you have to do here is draw in the pointy bat ears that sort of slouch off to the sides.

4

Define the bat ears like so, then you can move to step five.

5

Draw the small skeletal bat body like so, and just for fun add a small belly button.

6

Here you will draw the bat wing and small hand which is incorporated with the wing.

7

Draw in the same exact wing and hand as you did in step six. You have to make sure they are uniform.

8

Next, make the bones for the bat's arms. Add the finger lines too because the bat's fingers should be skeletal as well.

9

And finally, draw in the small stubby skeletal legs and feet. Add some detailing then erase whatever mistakes you made.

10

When you are done the drawing of your bat skeleton should look like the one you see here. Add some color if you wish.

Description: This is going to be a fun lesson for artists of all skill levels to tackle because it's simple, exciting and creative. Up next we will learn "how to draw a bat skeleton", step by step. This would actually make an awesome tattoo idea for those of you that love bats but don't want to get something evil looking inked on your skin. The concept for this bat came from Bartok from the animated movie 'Anastasia'. He was Rasputin's white bat in the movie who was also Rasputin's only friend. Anyways, that was just some of the idea for this skeletal bat concept, the rest came from random thoughts. I had a lot of fun with this drawing so I think you will like it to.
