How to Draw Zombie Yoshi, Zombie Yoshi

Step 1.

Start with some shapes like always as well as guidelines. Make a circle for the head, an egg shape for the body, and connect the two with a neck guide.

Step 2.

Begin drawing out Yoshi's head and snout. There is a torn piece of lip missing from his mouth in a triangular shape. Draw that in as well as the gum, gum-line, and teeth. Draw in the frowning shaped eyebrows and then the actual shapes of the eyes.

Step 3.

Draw in Yoshi's bottom jaw and lip like so along with the bottom row of teeth. Next, sketch in some small wounds around the mouth and front of the lip.

Step 4.

Draw out the entire body except for the legs. This means you will start with the neck, then draw the chest, arms, hands, and mid section of body. Draw the shell saddle and some of the thigh.

Step 5.

Here you will draw in the other arm, and then draw out the leg and boot for his foot. As you can see the torn flesh is also something that needs to be drawn in for the stomach. Add the sole lines and move to step six.

Step 6.

Draw the other boot and then draw in the string of intestine which just became exposed about five minutes ago. This is a simple task so try not to rush through it. Clean up the drawing to perfection and you're done.

Step 7.

Here is what the master piece looks like when you are done. Color in this zombie figure and be on your way to something else.

Description: Up next is a video game character that some of you folks asked for as a requested lesson. These requests where made in the comment section of other tutorials, as well as e-mails sent to me. So here is the green fella that you all wanted, "how to draw zombie Yoshi", step by step. I went ahead and actually drew guts spilling from Yoshi’s stomach and I know that there are some of you who asked the question as to why are Yoshi’s intestines still intact if these characters are zombies and their guts are trailing along the ground getting damaged and battered which means they wouldn’t be in a “whole” condition. I don’t have an answer for that except, maybe their guts just became split open five minutes before that exact moment that the pose is drawn in. That should actually put some ease on that reoccurring question which was a great point by the way, and I actually sat there thinking of a good answer that makes sense. Anyways, Yoshi is not all blood and guts in this drawing. I did leave another taunting aspect that would raise questions to those that find faults as easily as they find beauty. I left something untouched in this drawing that would normally be tattered from being owned by a “zombie” monster or creature. Can you see what I didn’t change about this character? Leave your answers with a comment and I will let you know when you’re right. Have fun drawing zombie Yoshi, and also have fun coloring him in!
