Step 1.
Draw a round disc shape for the outline of your poppy flower. Next add the inner guidelines and shapes as you see here. Lastly, draw a stem line.

You will now start sketching out the middle flower like design which is the stamens of the plant. Lastly, start sketching out the beginning shapes of the poppy pedals as you see here.

Continue to sketch out all the flower pedals until your poppy looks like a whole flower. Be sure to add a few notches along the pedals edges, and then add some detailing too.

For the last drawing step all you need to do is draw out the stem, and then add the leaves. Sketch in defining dimples on the pedals and then you can begin erasing the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

β. The poppy flower is one of the more recognizable plants that flower connoisseur enjoy planting, and studying. For one this is one of the few types of flowers that have only one bloom per stem. They come in many different colors, and are said to be one of the more attractive wildflowers that grow in large groups. Like their name, these blooms belong to the poppy family, and they come in very pretty colorful varieties like white, pink, red, blue, orange, and yellow. One of the unique characteristics of the poppy is the center design of itβs make-up. In the middle of the flower there is a core that looks like another bloom is growing. the stamens are surrounded by a cup shaped bowl that consists of six pedals. With the different colors that these plants come in, the density of shade also varies from a deep rich, to lovely pastel shades.
