Artist:

Step 1.
Draw a circle for Greg's head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the complete torso shape for his body, and then draw a square for his shorts. Add the leg lines and the shapes for the hand, and shoes.

Step 2.
Thicken the lining for this characters head shape and then draw the nose and saddened mouth. Add an ear and then a few pieces of hair strands as you can see here. You will also need to thicken the body shape too to make the character look bold.

Step 3.
Draw the backpack, and then Greg's shirt sleeve, arm, and hand. When you're done just move onto the next drawing step which will actually be your last.

Step 4.
Draw two small circles and then color them in for the eyes. Thicken the shape for his shorts, and then draw the shapes of his skinny legs. Add the lining for the socks, and then draw his shoes. You can go ahead and start erasing all the guidelines an

Color in the backpack, and shorts for a finished drawing tutorial on how to draw Wimpy Kid. Hope you had fun, and I'm sure that Greg Heffly is happy to be completed.

Description:
My sister is reading a book called “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” and she absolutely loves it. I’m not going to go crazy with the tutorial description because a member already submitted a lesson on this very popular book character named Greg Heffly. Supposedly the story is wicked funny, and there is actually a collection of Wimpy Kid books out on the market today. He is a plain looking pencil drawn character that appears to only have a few pieces of hair on his head. He walks around all day with a tee shirt, shorts, ankle socks, sneakers, and a backpack. I personally have not read the book, but my sister keeps telling me that the story line is funny enough for people of all ages to read. This lesson goes out to my sis, and I think you will like learning "
how to draw Wimpy Kid, step by step
”. She is going to use this tutorial to write a book report on the character Greg Heffly, so I can’t wait to see how that comes out. Gotta go again gang, but I will be back either today, or early tomorrow. Peace out people, and happy “wimpy” drawing!
