How to Draw Ponyta
1
There is just four simple drawing steps, and one line art step. Start by drawing a few shapes that are all going to be round as shown here. One for the head, one for the torso, and one for the back end. Once these shapes are drawn out, you can attach
2
Begin sketching out the shape of Ponyta's face or horse head like so, and when that is done be sure to incorporate the ear shapes, and then high roaring flaming mane.
3
Add detailing inside of the ear, and then draw an almond shaped eye as well as color it in. Next, draw the back of the neck, and then continue the lining to form the arched back, and butt. Next and lastly, draw the chest, and front legs. Don't forget
4
All you need to do now is draw out the rest of the legs, and then draw the belly. Once that is done, sketch out the hooves, and draw the flaming shapes that are behind the front and back legs, and flowing down the back and tail. Erase the guidelines

Description: I bet your wondering why on earth am I submitting another Pokemon tutorial. The answer to that question is quite easy, it's another request. I want to let you all in on a little secret, a majority of the requests I have been getting since the new request submission option went up, is loaded with members asking me to draw all kinds of Pokemon characters. I figured if I do one a day, that wouldn't be too bad. But to tell you the truth, I am getting pretty burnt out on drawing these creatures. It's not because I hate them or anything, it's more because just writing about them is getting boring. We all know what Pokemon are, and the different types there are too. But, nonetheless, I have to go about my work, and keep drawing and writing because I know that is what keeps members happy, and entertained. This next lesson is going to be on “how to draw Ponyta", step by step. I know for a fact that this is a species that was apart of the beginning Pokemon that started the series. It is a fire type, and is amongst the fire horse species. Ponyta also evolves into “Rapidash” when level forty is reached. The name of this species was perfectly developed because Ponyta looks like a horse. The only difference is the mane, and tail. Instead of horse hair for the tail and mane, Ponyta has flames. The color of Ponyta's hide is a creamy color which compliments the fiery flames that is part of it's make up. As for this Pokemon's abilities, it's Flash Fire, Flame Wheel, and some other fire type moves. One cool thing about this species is the hooves. Ponyta's hooves are harder than diamonds. I have always been fond of this character because it always reminded me of a fantasy being. Like most horses, Ponyta is relativity calm, and they also let humans ride on their backs. If you fancy yourself a Ponyta, look in the grasslands, or any place that has plenty of grass for them to feed on. In general, this tutorial will show you an easy way to "draw Ponyta", step by step. I will be back a little later on today with some other fun stuff. In the mean time have fun drawing Pokemon in every which way possible.
