Make the guides for the head and body like so. Then draw in the facial guidelines followed by the leg or limb guidelines.

Define the shape of Patty's face like so, then draw in a single strand of hair. Patty has fine, thin hair.

Finish drawing the hairstyle which is the combed over bangs and some stringy pieces of hair on the sides of her head.

We will use the facial guidelines to draw and color in the eyes, mouth and eyebrows. Easy right?

Next, draw the torso which is also her clothing. The sleeves and long shirt are just single lined style.

Lastly, draw in Patty's arm/hand, then draw in the legs, feet, sandals and stripes on her shirt. When you are all done you can erase the mistakes and guidelines.

Here is your line art when you are all done. Now you can have some fun and just color in Peppermint Patty.

Description: Out of all the characters from the Peanuts Gang I would have to say that there is one that stands out the most and I think it's because of how determined and strong willed she is. Today for my second tut, I will show you how to draw Peppermint Patty, step by step. She is the tomboyish looking girl with brownish red hair and freckles. She is one of the few Peanuts members that wears sandals and she is almost always hanging around Marcie. Drawing Peppermint Patty is going to be so fun. I made all the characters from Charlie Brown simple for everyone to tackle and draw so go ahead and knock yourselves out. Remember, I have more tuts coming your way so stay tuned in.
