How to Draw Master Shifu from Kung Fu Panda

Step 1.


Okay start this step by drawing out the oval shape of his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw two antenna like lines on his head and draw out the shape of his body.

Step 2.


In this next step you will cal off the antenna lines to form a set of ears and then sketch out the fuzzy lining for his face. Draw a beard and then add some crease and definition lining for his sleeve. Once that is done you are ready to draw out the    

Step 3.


You have now reached step three and what you will do here is detail the inside of Shifu's ears by drawing some separation lines. Once that is done give him some long fluffy eyebrows and then draw out the shapes of his eyes. You will then add the brid   

Step 4.


You have now made it to your last drawing step and what you will do now is add some detailing fur lines on his ears, under his eyes, and on his tail. Give him some pupils and eyeballs and then a long Chinese like mustache. Shifu has a flame design on   

Step 5.

I wanted to take a step back yesterday and relax to figure what I thought would make a cool draw lesson. Then it came to me, I will show you how to draw Master Shifu from Kung Fu Panda step by step. I know most of you must have seen Kung Fu Panda either when it was released in the theaters or on DVD. Me personally, I watched it both ways with my favorite being on DVD because I had the power to rewind the parts that were extremely funny so I could get a double dosage of laughing pain. Master Shifu is thought to be some sort of raccoon right? Wrong, the fact is Shifu is what Po is, a panda but the only difference is he is a red panda. Red Pandas have an extreme resemblance to a modern day raccoon except they are red in color instead of black, brown and grey. Master Shifu is the one that pointed out Po as being the next dragon warrior and he is also responsible for Po’s training. Master Shifu trains only the best of the best of kung fu fighters because he is very good at it; this also includes Tai Lung who is the bad guy of the movie. I found that Master Shifu had a bunch of quotes that made me say to myself “wow that was tight”. Anyways this pint sized character is awesome as well as skillful and wise. This tutorial will help you learn how to draw Master Shifu from Kung Fu Panda step by step.
