How to Draw Knuckles

Step 1.


Okay start this first easy step by drawing a medium sized circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw two lines for his arms and then a smaller circle for his torso. Make the leg lines and then the shapes of his feet or   

Step 2.


In this next step you will start drawing out the lining for his hair and then the first curved line for his nose. Indent the inner part of the arms and then thicken his legs by making them the correct shape.

Step 3.


I am trying to make this tutorial as simple as possible that is why each step has very little to do. You will now draw the cheek lines on his face and then more hair line as shown. You will also start drawing out the shape of his body as well as his    

Step 4.


You are already on your forth step and here you will add more hair lines that fall in front of his face. Make the begining shapes of the gloves on his wrist and then start sketching out Knuckles hands. Widen the right leg and then detail his boots so   

Step 5.


Now in this step as you can see you will start adding the facial lines to form his face. Start by drawing a curved line for his brow on both sides and then a crinkle line between his eyes ontop of his nose. Add small dashes for his cheek lines and th

This is your last drawing step and here you will begin shaping out Knuckles head and face. Add his eye pupils and then shape out the bottom of his face. Give him a little nose and then a mean looking smile. Draw the crest on his chest and then add th

Description: I have to put up one more drawing tutorial before I call it a night. This next lesson is going to teach you "how to draw Knuckles" from Sonic the Hedgehog game series with his first appearance being on the third version of Sonic back in 1994. Knuckles is supposed to be a sixteen year old kid that lives on Angel Island. This particular island exists in the sky from the power of the Master Emerald. The Master Emerald stays in a shrine that is guarded by Knuckles himself. It was stolen at one point by the evil Dr. Robotnik. He stole the Emerald so that he could power up some weapon on the Death Egg. The Echidna people are the folks that live on Angel Island, but unfortunately Knuckles is the last of his kind which means he is the only one that lives there. Knuckles character is a physically powerful character and he is also highly resilient to any damage that may come his way. Knuckles is a red colored echidna (which in real life happens to be a spiny anteater. The body of this animal looks very much like a hedgehog) he also has a white crest marking on his chest which is known to be his birthmark. There is a question that I use to ask myself and that was; “is Knuckles Sonic’s friend or enemy”? The answer to that question is both. Knuckles is sometimes portrayed as a friend of Sonic, and he is also sometimes his enemy. He got his name because he has two knuckles on each hand that happen to be in the shape of two large very sharp spikes. Now an interesting fact about Knuckles character is that he happens to be the fourth most popular character in the game series which is not a total shock because he is wicked cool. I love the all the Sonic games and when I first played Sonic I was hooked immediately. I mean there is so many cool things about the game that makes it addictive like rolling into a ball and getting enough speed to go through a bunch of loop simultaneously. That is sweet. In this awesome tutorial I will show you how to draw Knuckles the Echidna step by step. I hope you like it because it did take me some time to draw.
