1

Start with a head like always, and then draw out the shape of the body like so. When that is done you can then draw out the lower half of the jacket, and then add the limb lines like you see here.

2

Sketch out the shape of the neck, and then the actual shape of the face. When that is done sketch out the upper body which consists of the jacket, sleeves, and then the pants like you see here. The pants are very similar to those worn back in the WWI

3

Finish sketching out the head which is his hairstyle, and then add the eyes, nose, and mouth. Next draw in the collar, straps, belt, and then add the stitching details on the sleeve cuffs, and collar. Add some more detailing on the upper body clothin

4

Finish sketching out the face, and then draw out the ears. When that's all set, draw out the hands, rest of the legs, and then the shin high boots. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up the drawing you see here.

5

This is how your drawing looks when all is done. Color in Germany to get a nice colored in drawing of this epic character from Hetalia.

Description: My last two lessons are going to be based on characters from the anime and manga series, Hetalia: Axis Powers. The first character tutorial is going to show you "how to draw Germany", step by step. Believe it or not, but I have a lesson on one of these characters from the Hetalia series, and he is called America. All the figures of the manga and anime are based on political events that happened during WWII. All the names of each character are based on the different countries, hence their names. Germany is probably one of the most serious figures in the show, and I guess this is due to the fact that he is a primary influence when it comes to training both Italy, and Japan. Germany also at one point makes a reference that his leader was crazy, and some people believe, that person is in fact Hitler. As you know Adolph Hitler was responsible for the second world war. Anyways, even though Germany is a very rough and tough character, I still had fun drawing him out. I think you too will have a blast when it comes time to "draw Germany", step by step. I will be back with my last lesson, so stick around to see what that may be. Adios people!
