How to Draw German Shepherd
1
Start with two circle shapes, one for the head and one for the body. Next draw the facial guidelines like you see here for the GSD's face.
2
As you know German Shepherds have very erect ears. That is the way you will draw out the ears on this toy. Next add the marking lines, on the ears and forehead, and then draw the shape of the dogs face which includes the nose.
3
Using the facial guidelines you will now draw in the eyes, and then color in some pupils. Next draw the lower part of the mouth and or lip, and then draw the shape of the plushy's body.
4
For your last drawing step all you need to do is draw the front legs and paws, and then draw the back paws as you see here. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to prepare this pooch for color.

Description: I received an e-mail to do a tutorial on another Webkinz animal. For those of you that didn't know, yes I do make drawing lessons on the very popular Webkinz plush toys. I will now fulfill your request on “how to draw German Shepherd”. My sister has a bunch of these cute stuffed animals and for some reason I kind of see why they are so addictive. They look just like the real animals that they are supposed to be but in a toyish way, and they feel so good when you hold them in your hands. The texture of a Webkinz animal varies with each toy. For instance, my thirteen year old sister has a “Lil' Kinz”, and it feels soft but it has material that looks spiky or stringy for the fur. I was so happy when I received this request because not only are these toys fun to draw, I actually have two German Shepherds myself. One is solid black and his name is Bear, the other is black and silver, and her name is Nena . Well the silver really looks like a creamy tan color, but when she was three months old the coat did look like silver. Anyways, because this is a plushy all I can really give you for a description is what I already wrote. I think it's time for me to shut up so you can get started on this very cute, very simple tutorial on “how to draw German Shepherd, step by step”. When you're done you can go all out and color in your drawing the same color of your very own GSD that you may have, or the color of the dog you want to have. Either way it should be fun. Peace out guys and happy drawing!
