How to Draw Festro, Festro, Secret Mountain Fort Awesome

Step 1.


Festro is a fun character to draw because he is so off the wall looking. You will begin with a circle for the head and then draw out the looped shape for his body. Add the facial guidelines and move forward.

Step 2.


Festro's bottom jaw overlaps the top part of the mouth. You will draw over the shape you just made in step one to darken the top half of the head. Next, draw out a bowl like shape using the guides you drew in the previous step to draw out the bottom    

Step 3.


Now using the facial guidelines you drew in step one, draw in the semi large eyes, and then draw a W for the brow smack dab in the middle of the eyes. Sketch out the nose, and then draw two sharp teeth that hang over the bottom jaw. Sketch in some sp   

Step 4.


All you will do here is draw out the dark, stiff bristle like hair that is perking out the sides of Festro's head.

Step 5.


Begin drawing out the left shoulder followed by the strong looking arm. The hand is pretty simple to draw too because it is a bit strangled looking. Be sure to draw in those claws or nails before leaving. Did I mention that you have to draw the left    

Step 6.


Repeat the same exact action like you just did in step five. Draw out the right shoulder, arm and hand as well as his chest or muscular breast.

Step 7.


Draw out the torso and the waist, then begin tackling the legs and then draw in the feet which are in the form of sneakers. Make sure to detail those kicks too.

Step 8.


Now all that's left to do is adding muscle detail, and body definition. Draw in the nipples, and then draw the stitched design for his underwear. Erase the guides and shapes you drew in step one.

Step 9.


Here is Festro when you are all done, I hope you guys had some fun.

Description: The next few tutorials that I will submit are going to be based on some characters from a new Cartoon Network series that is set to air sometime in October of this year. To start, let me just say that I think you guys will enjoy what I have in store, and just to let you know, the descriptions are going to be short because these are brand new undeveloped figures which means they haven’t even established personalities and characteristics yet. Let’s start by learning "how to draw Festro", step by step. Now Fesrto is the main character of the series and he, like his other buddies, are what you call Disgustoids. The name of the show is Secret Mountain of Fort Awesome, but I will get into what the series is about with another tutorial. Anyways, Festro is a purple colored monster that leads a group of four. He has a total of four teeth, and has black stiff brush like hair that sticks out from the sides of his head. He also has a muscular build, and for his attire, Festro only wears underwear and sneakers. He should be a simple character to draw, and if you have heard of the series, than you should know that it is said to be one huge joy ride. I think you’ll have fun as you "draw Festro" from this soon to be series. There is still a lot more coming your way so stay tuned in boys and girls.
