How to Draw Chris Novak, Out There

Step 1.


Start by drawing the oblong shape of Chris' head like so, then draw in a small rectangular body shape. Sketch in the facial guidelines, then move to step two.

Step 2.


Sketch out the actual shape of Chris' face like so, then draw in the parted hair. The left side of the hair should be feathered looking.

Step 3.


We will now utilize the facial guidelines and draw in Chris' big eyeglasses followed by his eyes. Draw the small nose, then his smile.

Step 4.


The next thing you will do is draw in the rest of his hairstyle. Chris rocks an eighties parted style that a lot of men who listened to Boston and Styx.

Step 5.


You will now draw in the straps to his farmer jeans or overalls. Draw the rest of the body in the form of his overall jeans. Add the pocket on the front part of his clothing, then draw in his small feet.

Step 6.


Lastly, all you have to do is draw the arms, the rest of his torso which is also the shirt, then add the hands which are resting on his hips. Erase your mistakes then you're done.

Step 7.


Here is what Chris Novak looks like when you are all done. Color him in, and that's it.

Unlike Chad's character Chris looks to be human, but then again I don't know. When the series has had a few episodes I can get a good idea as to what their characters are supposed to be as well as who they are as individuals.
