Artist:
Dawn
/ January 22, 2009
Step 1.
Okay lets start this first step by drawing out the shapes and guidelines for Charmeleon. Start with a circle for his head and then make an oversized teardrop shapes body. Add a neck line as well as the arm, leg and shoulder lines of position.

Step 2.
What you will be doing next in this step is draw out the shape of the mouth and then the outlining shape of his right arm and back of the neck. You will then draw out the beginning shaping of his legs and foot as well as the tail.

Step 3.
Wow this Pokemon character is coming along nicely isn't it? What you will do now is start drawing out the entire shape of Charmeleon's body as you see it here. Once that is done make sure you also add the shape of the claws and then his flaming tail.
You will also need to add three toe shapes on each foot before you move to the next drawing step.

Step 4.
Well this is your last drawing step and all you will do here is draw out the detailing in the face like the forehead crease lines and the nostrils. You will then draw out the shape of his eye and then add the eyeball and pupil. Finish the lining for
his body starting at the stomach and working your way to the tail. Once that is done finish off the flaming tail tip and add his teeth and tongue. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

This is what your Pokemon character should come out looking like when you are done. All you have to do now is color him in and your done. I hope you liked learning how to draw Charmeleon from Pokemon step by step. Remember you have just finished a tu

Description:
Here it is guys, tutorial number 1,000. This next drawing lesson is going to be remembered for all time because it is the one that made the sites quota of having a total of one thousand drawing tutorials. I am very proud of DragoArt and of all the artists, members and visitors that come and contribute, learn, comment, and critique because each one of you helped to bring this site where it is today. As time goes on hopefully there will be more and more members uploading tutorials to show how better you’ve gotten over time since you have been a member here. For this lesson you will learn how to draw Charmeleon from Pokemon step by step. Yes I am submitting another Pokemon character because it was suggested that I complete the collection of having all three characters that evolved from each other. First I submitted a lesson on how to draw Charizard, and then I showed you how to draw Charmander. This lesson will complete that series for all three Pokemon in the same family group. Now Charmeleon is a flame Pokemon and is from an evolution from Charmander which starts at level 16. After that he them evolves from Charmander to Charizard when he reaches level 36. Like his fellow evolutions, Charmeleon is a reptile and like the other two the tip of his tail also has a burning flame. His forearms are bolder and bigger than the other two and his three claws are very much exposed. Even though he has no wings, he looks much meaner than Charizard. This tutorial was also a request by a few different members and now that it is going to be submitted you too will now learn how to draw Charmeleon from Pokemon step by step. I will return to break the one thousand mark in a bit so stay tuned gang I shall return.
