How to Draw an Anime Halloween Girl

1

Draw the oval lightly with a No.2 or HB pencil. Make sure you draw it as seen in the picture.

2

Now draw in the bisecting red line to balance her facial features and the red crescent for head mass.

3

Sketch lightly the red lines starting half way down the circle.

4

Draw in the lower part of her face and extend the bisecting line.

5

This is a tiny bit more challenging. Now draw in the paperclip-like ovals for her torso, thighs and legs.

6

Last but not least, draw in the circle for her hips and curved line for her tail.

7

Draw in her eyes first, then hair and mouth.

8

Try looking closely to where her hair and ear appears in relation to the guidelines for more accuracy. Shade in the thick lined areas that are shadows.

9

Sketch in lightly her remaining ear, hair, headband, and that last piece of her bangs. Look closely to see the beginning lines of her leg and toe. Don't forget to draw that.

10

You have the left outline of her face to draw and more bangs. Make sure you get her little neck shadow. Now draw her other leg and foot outline, calf, and the cute pumpkin and vine.

11

At this point, we're working on her thighs, arms, blouse, and skirt. Look at the lines in relation to the guidelines. That will keep your drawing lines in order. If you find anything unbalanced or looking strange, you can always erase. For me, that i

12

Now draw in the rest of her hair, blouse and skirt. Take your time. Don't rush this.

13

The fun part is finally here! Her tail. Draw it in. Notice how the tail guideline doesn't totally match the tail's shadow lines. Yours doesn't have to match exactly either.

14

You drawing may look like this or you might have your own version. At this point, you can color in your picture with a medium of your choice.

15

Here's some coloring help. Color her hair in a light orange. You can make your pumpkins orange and the stocking vine green (don't forget her thighs). Also add the green piping to her collar. Color her tail's shadow dark brown.

16

TIP: It is always good to start out light and then color darker. I did her hair in a darker orange.

17

I colored her in almost completely. As you can see, not all the details have been added like extra lines in her hair. More texture in her tail. I kept wondering what color her eyes would be... bright orange, green, or brown. I felt she would not stan

18

I did not know what color to make the headband. But looking at the green vine and piping made up my mind. Green would be a nice contrast against her hair.

19

I get a sense of peace with her blue eyes. I finished coloring in her hand, adding in darker shades to her face and hands. You can add as much detail as you want or leave the colors solid.

20

Now add a background. I chose pumpkins because of Halloween and the Fall. Let me know what you think of this tutorial. I love hearing from you. Fav, comment, or click on "Love it," to show your support! Luv and hugs to you all!

Description: I have been getting requests to do more Neko Anime and Dawn asked me to do a Neko Fox Girl. I drew this traditionally first in ink then colored and edited it in Photoshop. Anime isn't my style, but I always wanted to take up the challenge to do these (something new to learn). Let me know how I did. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy "How to Draw a Neko Fox Girl."
