How to Draw a Tribal Horse, Tribal Horse Tattoo

You will need to start the first step by making the shapes for the head and body like you see here. You will then attach the neck guide.

All you will need to do here is draw out the tip of the horse's muzzle like so. Take your time when you follow all the steps so your tribal horse comes out perfect.

Next, start forming the rest of the horse's side profile using the muzzle you just drew in step two. Slowly draw the shape of the neck, then sketch out the tribal style mane as it flows beautifully. Add the ear then you're done.

Next up, draw out the front shoulder in a action style. Draw out the leg as it's in a bent pose. Insert some tribal lining or detailing all over the leg.

Close off the neck by making a very solid tribal design. Finish drawing out the leg you worked on in step four, then draw out the other front leg and hoof. Add the lining accordingly.

You are almost done with your tribal horse. All you have to do here is draw out the form of the horse's back, then draw in the nicely curved back end as well as the hind quarters or leg. Draw a nice tribal pattern for the stomach, then add nice linin

Finish the hind legs completely in a nice solid form, then add some shading until the thighs look like their colored in.

Almost done folks, keep going. You will work on the horse's tail. I went with a high arched base to get that action pose, and I also wanted a long beautiful tail to go with the character design of the tribal horse.

Lastly, add some final touches around the face, and mane like so. Erase the mistakes that you made along the way.

Here is your tribal horse when you're all done. Now you can use it as stencil for your next tribal tattoo.

Description: Okay, well for my last lesson I will be doing something based on a tribal animal. This is probably one of my favorite pieces of tribal art that I have drawn thus far, but that's just me. We will be learning "how to draw a tribal horse", step by step. I do have a tribal lesson based on a horse head, but that's it, it's just the head of a horse in tribal form. I know that horses and other types of equine are loved by millions of people. I love horses myself, which is why I really enjoy drawing them out in all different styles, poses, and sizes. This tribal horse has a real nice shaped body from the side. The legs, tail, and frame is thick and realistic while keeping it simple as a tribal design. If I was interested in getting a tribal tattoo in the form of a horse, this would definitely be my first choice without a doubt and I'm not just saying that because I drew it. Anyways, that's all I can really say. I do hope you enjoy drawing a tribal horse of your own. Like always you can tweak the design any way you want, its' all up to you.
