How to Draw a Snowman for Kids
1
Make a circle for the head and then draw in the one guide that flows from the head, down to the form a body.
2
Thicken the shape of the face like so, and then draw out the top hat that snowmen are famous for wearing.
3
To keep things really simple, I decided to go with a chibi style face. Make the small shaped eyes, and then draw out the mouth. Make a band or ribbon wrap around the hat and then move along.
4
Now you can draw out the warm looking scarf which is wrapped around the neck, and then detail it with some fun stripes.
5
Draw a swift circle for the top half of the body, and then draw in the stick figure like arms and hands which are typically twigs in real life snowman building.
6
And lastly, draw out the bottom half of the body as well as add one minor detailing line. Clean up your work to prepare this drawing for color.

Description: I know Christmas is not as close to approaching us as Halloween and Thanksgiving is, but I just wanted to get a couple lessons out of the way before I forget to do them come winter time. Up next is an awesome lesson on "how to draw a snowman for kids", step by step. I know drawing a snowman may seem like a no brainer, but sometimes it can get hard creating a new idea into a reality on paper. The only way I knew how to make a snowman in a for kids manner that would be understandable, cute, and creative is to make a figure that sort of looks like the version from the Christmas special ‘Frosty the Snowman’, but also change it in a way to make the snowman look like an original concept. Either way you are sure to love following this lesson even though the snow has not hit the ground yet. Well, if you live in the Appalachians you guys already had some snow. That’s it for this description, have fun and enjoy!
