How to Draw a Monk
1
Let's start by drawing the guide for the head shape and then the body outline. Once that is done sketch in the facial guidelines.
2
Begin drawing the actual form of the head and face. When that is done draw in the ears and then add detailing inside them.
4
We will now draw the shapes of the large saucer eyes, then draw in the angled eyebrows. Be sure to have the eyebrows rest on the eye.
5
We can now draw the collar and then draw the left arm and hand. Once that is complete you can draw the bamboo fighting stick, then the opposite hand at the top of the stick and his arm just under.
6
Finish it all off by drawing the torso, legs and feet. Don't forget the wrap around the torso and waist. Erase the mistakes and you're done.

Description: Up next we have a very cute lesson on how to draw a Monk, step by step. This Monk is supposed to be an Asian style Monk. The hair, clothing and bamboo fighting stick is something that makes this Monk stand out beyond the rest. The whole concept of this piece reminds me Kung Fu Panda with the figure being a human version of Po. I love this drawing and I hope you do too. There are more lessons coming your way so be sure to come back around or stay put.
