How to Draw a Lighthouse by the Sea

Step 1.


Let us begin with the first step which is the guidelines and shapes

Step 2.


Next, draw the top part of the lighthouse which is where the spotlight is housed. Once that is done you can draw the railing. Actually draw the railing first.

Step 3.


Go ahead and draw the actual structure of the building and add the small window like circles that flow on the front. Add the detailing to the globe and then begin drawing out the waves in a splashing motion.

Step 4.


Behind the lighthouse is the setting sun so go ahead and draw that in. Once that's complete you can tackle drawing more of the waves that are crashing up against the lighthouse.

Step 5.


Continue to draw the waves and then draw in the beginning of the flower.

Step 6.


Finish the flower and then add the flying seagulls on both sides of the lighthouse. Go ahead and erase the mistakes and the guides.

Step 7.


That is it. You're all done. Now add some color and show off your work.
