How to Draw a Hippie Sunflower

Step 1.


Go ahead and draw a circle for the face and bloom of the sunflower and then the guidelines for the leaves and stem.

Step 2.


Next, draw in the shape of the hippie sunflower bucket hat.

Step 3.


We will draw in the face with a BIG W for the sunglasses.

Step 4.


Next, draw in the center of the flower and then draw the sunflower petals as well as the friendly smile. Don't forget to add some definition to the petals.

Step 5.


We will draw in the thick, curvy stem next.

Step 6.


Lastly, draw in the big leaves which will act as arms. Add definition and then erase whatever mistakes you might have made.

Step 7.


That's it, you are all done. Now you can color in this hippie sunflower using shades you like.

Description: I love drawing sunflowers or flowers in general, but when you mix a hippie with one of my favorite flowers you get a hippie sunflower. So that is what we will be drawing today. Up next we will draw a hippie sunflower, step by step. The idea for this lesson was inspired by an image I came across and I couldn't pass up the idea to recreate it in my own way. I do hope you enjoy this lesson. I had fun making it and I know you will too. We have to stay positive in these troubling times and what better way to do that than with a "feel good" lesson.
