In this first step you will be drawing the guidelines of the Christmas tree. Start by drawing a long straight line down the middle of your drawing paper and then seven lines that go across. These seven lines are placed in positions that will help you

Now you will draw two more small straight lines that will be used for the guidelines pf the star. You will then draw out the shapes of the two branches at the top and complete the rest of the branches you drew in step one. You will then continue to d

In this third step you will first draw out the shape of the star and then finish the tree branches as shown. When you are done with that you can draw the rest of the gingerbread man and then some wrinkle lines on the tree skirt.

Description: This is going to be another simple drawing tutorial. I figured that Christmas is around the corner and the more excited I get the more Christmas things I want to draw. So for my third tutorial of the day I am going to show you how to draw a simple Christmas tree. Now I love Christmas (as many of use that practice this holiday do) and there is one thing that I love about this warm feeling holiday, the presents. If you was to ask that age old question “who started the idea of a Christmas tree” you wouldn’t get a direct answer because there is no history of any one person starting such a tradition. The earliest known Christmas tree can be dated back to the 1500’s in Germany. Now in a place called the Cathedral of Strasbourg the church record statements that a Christmas tree was placed behind closed doors. Traditionally these trees are evergreens that come from veriest forest. You can either purchase a real pine smelling tree, or a store bought plastic boxed up tree. My family usually buys a real tree because it smells up the house something nice and it is more Christmassy as well. When you have the tree in your home you put it on a stand and decorate it with ornaments, and garland, a bunch of Christmas lights, tassel, strands of popcorn, and other seasonal objects that can be hung up on a tree. After your tree is all nice and decorated the last thing to be placed at the very top is the star. Some people use angels, but my family uses a nice big bright star. This tutorial will show you an easy way to draw a simple Christmas tree step by step. This was really fun for me to do because I got to decorate my tree early this year. Well I will be back with two more tutorials in a bit and remember today is Christmas theme day.
