Ok, let's begin by drawing two circles, one being the head and the second for the base of the body. Use a circular object to trace around and try to draw these guides on a separate piece of paper; taking a secondary piece and overlaying it onto the p

Now that we have our guidelines drawn, we'll work on the shape of it's head. Take your time like I said before, and DO NOT rush. Start with one side of the face and work onto the next side. This technique is great for leveling the head proportionatel

Next, work on the facials, working on one side then finishing with the rest. Features should be rounded, restricted from sharp edges since this is suppose to be softened chibi-fied.

4

Then, since the head is finished, let's move onto the body shape. We'll want to focus on the simplicity which is starting with the forelegs. Work on one leg at a time so you won't mess up the entire drawing.

5

Finish off by drawing the rest of the body by starting one leg at a time. Sketch out the tail and you should be fine!

Clean up your lines and you should be ready for inking! I hope you had fun with this tutorial, like I did, thank you so much for viewing! Peace and love, - Dawn.

Description: Hey guys, Dawn here and I’m going to be giving you another tutorial on one of the most hysterical and outrageously cute dogs, Chihuahuas. Take your time evaluating where to place the guidelines, and have a circular object to trace around so you have accurate guidelines. Make sure you draw these guidelines VERY dark on a piece of paper and take a separate piece and overlay it onto the previously drawn guidelines. This way, you have no guidelines on the future drawing you’ll have, which means, cleaner and less messy work! I had so much fun designing a cute puppy version of this Chihuahua! Creating a puppy chibi version of one was extremely hard; I had to erase quite a lot. Anyways, take your time with this drawing, and don’t overwhelm yourself with such awesome cuteness ;) Thanks so much for viewing, and I really enjoy all the work you’ve been doing on the puppy drawings, honestly, I am VERY proud of how well drawn your renditions are. Thank you all so much; peace and love my lovely folks!
