Christmas Flamingo Drawing Lesson
1
Very simple lesson underway. Start with two round shapes. One for the head and the other for the body. You will then draw in the guidelines for the neck and leg.
2
Start with the head first and draw the soft rim of the Santa hat that this flamingo is wearing. Once that is done, you can then proceed to draw the hook style beak, then the thick curved neck.
3
Draw the markings on the beak and then draw the separation line for the face and beak. Add the shape of the flamingo's eye and nasal hole. Finish off this step by drawing the rest of the Santa hat.
4
After this step there is only one left. Finish the neck and then draw the bulb shaped body. Add the wing and feather detailing to the wing. Once that is done you can draw the feathery tail and then draw the jingle bells around the flamingo's neck.
5
Lastly, draw the flamingo's legs and feet followed by the nails and toes. Erase all those mistakes that you made along with the guidelines.

Description: Thanksgiving is over, and all the food is either gone or almost gone. People shopped on Black Friday and Christmas presents were bought. Now that we are moving on to our next holiday, I thought it would be fun to do something a bit different and something I have never done before or seen done here on Dragoart. Today, I will begin to celebrate the upcoming Christmas holiday by showing you all how to draw a Christmas Flamingo, step by step. For some reason this pink bird decorates the lawns on many homes for Christmas. I have seen a whole front yard covered in plastic flamingos with strings of colored lights wrapped around their heads and legs. It was actually a pretty display, but I don't see how the flamingo is a bird associated with Christmas. Nevertheless, this lesson is going to be fun to tackle and seasonal for folks to enjoy. If you are looking for something different to draw to celebrate the holiday season, drawing a Christmas flamingo may be just what you're looking for. Adios folks and happy holidays.
