How to Draw Zombie Ariel

Start by drawing the head and torso guides for Ariel. Don't forget to add the facial guidelines as well as the limb guides.

Next, begin sketching out the structure for Ariel's face shape. When that is done draw the hair line for the bangs that help frame her face.

When you start drawing Ariel's face, you have to use some crooked strokes because since her body is decaying, flesh will start rotting exposing some bone. Draw the eyebrows normal, then make the nose line and nasal cavity for the nose shape.

Draw the shapes of Ariel's eyes and when you do this you have to make the three layered bags under the eyes. Add some lashes, then move to step five.

You will now draw in the large shaped outline for Ariel's mouth. Add a small top lip, then some cuts along the mouth line.

Draw in all of zombie Ariel's small teeth like you see here, then draw in bits and pieces of torn skin around her mouth and jaw line like you see here. Also sketch in some tiny thin veins to her eyeballs.

Ariel is a zombie so you will have to draw in the signature hairstyle for Ariel, just add some small pieces of hair doing their own thing to make her style messy and dirty looking.

Next, we will work on Ariel's body starting with her neck and shoulders begin first. Add detailing to the collar bone area.

Sketch in the rest of zombie Ariel's hair and do the same thing you did when sketching out her top curl.

Draw the right arm, then sketch in Ariel's chest which should include the shells that she uses for a top since she is a mermaid.

You can now finish drawing Ariel's body. When you do this make sure that her body has that sunken in look. Draw her left arm and some of the hand.

She will be holding a heart so you have to draw the fingers and nails.

Next, draw in the heart that zombie Ariel is holding, then add the definition and detailing to the heart.

Now you will erase the guidelines and shapes, then when that task is done draw in all the ripped and torn pieces of flesh.

You are done. Take your time when you start coloring in zombie Ariel. Choose your shades wisely because I'm sure this was a lot of work and you don't want to mess up a drawing with bad coloring.

Description: Halloween is drawing near and as many of you know I have been in the mood to make more zombie characters based on some of our favorite figures from movies. Here is a concept that I know a lot of people have been waiting for. It's "how to draw Zombie Ariel", step by step. I didn't want to be too gruesome with converting this ocean beauty into a being from the dead. Instead of drawing holes on her body, I went with a decaying, shrinking sunken look with her holding a heart in her hand. I had fun with creating this concept, and think you guys will too.
