How to Draw Zeus
1
Start with a circle for his head shape and then draw a neck line. You will also draw the shape for a torso as well as the shape for his shroud. Add the shoulder shapes, and then the arm lines.
2
Begin sketching out the shape of his beard covered face, and then sketch out the long beard, and front lining for his hair. Once this is done you can then add some detailing in the beard, and then you may move to the next step.

Now you can sketch out the rest of his violent flowing hairstyle as you see here. Once that is done sketch in an ear, and then draw the shoulders, and very strong looking arms, and chest. Add major muscle detailing and definition as you see on his bi

Description: I know there is a lot of members on Dragoart that is into Greek Mythology. The last two lessons for the day are going to be on Gods that have made a name for themselves over hundreds of years of time. I will start by showing you “how to draw Zeus", step by step. Zeus is probably the most popular Greek Gods that has ever been written about to date. He is the ruler of Heaven which at one time, this position belonged to his father Cronos. When Zeus asked Metis to aid him to go against his father, she proceeded by giving Cronos a drug that made him yak up all the children and stone that he had swallowed at one time to prevent his thrown to be taken over by one of his prophesied sons. Zeus's next step was to get the backing of his brothers and sisters that where just upchucked by Cronos, to start a war against their father and the Titans. After they won the war, Zeus became the new ruler of Heaven. He is also known as the the ruler of the skies, and as you can imagine he is a supreme god, having more spirit, wisdom, and justice out of any other Greek God. Zeus has been known to punish evil doers, by inflicting punishment equal to that of their victims or the innocent. His symbol is the thunderbolt which he received from the Cyclopes. It is an eagle that brings back thunderbolts that Zeus uses to fling when practicing, or battling. I love the way this tutorial came out on “how to draw Zeus”. I know there is a few members that requested this God in the past, but due to a consistent flow of overwhelming request, I was not able to fill what you all wanted until now. Enjoy this tutorial on Hercules's father Zeus, and I will be sure to meet you all back here in a moment with my last lesson for the day. Peace people, and try to stay clear of any lightning bolts coming your way.
