How to Draw Wendy From Dont Starve

Start with a round shape for the head and then some facial and body guidelines.

Define the shape of Wendy's head like so, then draw in the wilted flower she wears in her hair.

Draw in the parted bangs like so, then draw the ears.

We will fill the void on her face with eyes, a nose and mouth. Color in the mouth and add some stress lines around the eyes to make them seem sunken in. Don't forget her lashes as well.

Now that her head and face is all drawn in, we can focus on the body. Do so by drawing the arms, torso and pleated skirt. Add the cuffs to the sleeves and proceed to step six.

All you have to do here is draw the arms and bone like hands. Once that is done draw in the stubby legs and feet.

For the final drawing step you will first erase the mistakes and guides, then draw in the crinkled style hairdo. As you can see the ends are very uneven. Also add strand lines to her hair.

Description: “Not all deaths are the same.” Here is a character that was requested by a couple people and she is from a video game called 'Don't Starve'. Today, we will be drawing Wendy from Don't Starve, step by step. The quote in the beginning of this description is actually from Wendy. She has blonde hair, void eyes and she wears a washed out pink or orange colored skirt. The character creation for Wendy is very cool. I don't play Don't Starve, but it looks like a very cool game. I do know that her attack power isn't that great, but despite that she is pretty fun to draw. I hope you like this lesson, it's pretty easy to replicate.
