How to Draw Van Halen, Van Halen

Begin with a simple horizontal line like so.

The V and H that you will draw have straight lines and a flying effect. You can use a ruler to make the thick shape for the left end of the V, then draw the right end facing the left end.

You will now draw the H but make sure it's larger than the V. The right part if the H should be just as long and thick as the V's arm. When you are done drawing the H, move to the last drawing step.

Add the pin stripe lines on each side of the V and H's arms, then erase mistakes and guides.

Here is Van Halen's logo all drawn in. Now you can add some color or use what you drew in your own way.

Description: Here is a band logo that is a blast from the past. Someone asked if I could make a lesson on "how to draw Van Halen", step by step. Van Halen is an American rock band that formed in 1972 from Pasadena California. Back then the band consisted of Alex Van Halen, Eddie Van Halen, David Lee Roth, and Wolfgang Van Halen. David Lee Roth was with Van Halen from 1972 to 1985. When Roth left the band back in 84, he was replaced with Sammy Hagar. Sammy Hagar stayed with the band for eleven years, and when he left in 96, Mitch Malloy became the bands new vocalist. Van Halen is a band that consists of three brothers and one lead singer. Even though they have struggled for a while with lead singers, eventually David Lee Roth returned back in 2006. The band will always and forever be a part of rock history, and so will the songs Yankee Rose, Jump, Running with the Devil, Ain't Talkin bout Love, Jamie's Crying, Eruption, and many, many more. I am not a child that lived during the eighties, but I do know that it was a cool era that had a lot of creative pure rock music.
