Start with a straight line like so, then move to step two.

Next, draw a second straight line and then you are all done.

Box off the the two lines so you end up with three bands for the French flag. Color in the stripes blue, white and red.

Description: Periodically I will be making tutorials of various flags from different countries. This lesson is going to be on "how to draw the France flag", step by step. The flag of France is made up of three colors that are the same colors of the United States flag. The flag is also called 'Tricolor' and it was accepted after the French Revolution back in 1789, but on February 15, 1794 the flag was already adopted as being France's official flag. This lesson is going to be incredibly easy because all you are doing is making three bands or strips that you will make with a ruler, then you will color them in, that's it. If you are from France, have fun drawing your flag.
