How to Draw Suigintou From Rozen Maiden

Step 1.


You will draw a circle for the head, then another shape for the torso. Next, draw the lining for the flow of her clothing.

Step 2.


Sketch out the actual shape of the head in the form of the hair and bangs as well as the maiden like tiara on her head.

Step 3.


Next, sketch out the shape of the face, then draw more of the strand chunks as well as her eyes, nose and mouth.

Step 4.


Next up, sketch out the shoulders, arms and then the shape of her body which is a very defined waist. The dress that Suigintou wears is very 'maiden' like. Add the bow tie under her chin, and then sketch out the detailing to her dress along the arms    

Step 5.


Continue to draw the length of her straight hair, then draw the feathery wings which are also her weapons.

Step 6.


You will now draw in more of the detailing to her dress. The top portion of the dress should split in points, and there should also be ruffled strands.

Step 7.


Continue to work on the dress by drawing out the rest of the shape to her gown. Add the crosses on each side of the dress, then add some ruffle at the ends.

Step 8.


Finish things off by drawing a crisscross pattern on the dress, then draw the legs and ruffled skirting under the dress. Erase the mistakes and then you are done.

Step 9.


Here is the line art of Suigintou when you are all done. Now you can enjoy the task of coloring her in.

Description: Again, here is a character from an anime/manga that I have never heard of or payed too much attention to. Sometimes I wish that I was still into anime because there seems to be a lot that I am missing as far as stories go. Up next I will be filling some requests and show you "how to draw Suigintou", step by step. Suigintou is the main character of the series as well as the first Rozen Maiden doll. Her whole goal throughout the series is to win the attention and affection of her 'father' which is also known as the doll maker Rozen. Drawing Suigintou will be fun and exciting especially for all you Rozen Maiden fans out there.
