How to Draw Storm Shadow
1
This lesson has a total of seven drawing steps and one line art step. Start with a circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a small neck line and attach it to the torso shape and then the lower abdomen shape. Next ad
2
In this second step you will start sketching out the shape of the face behind the mask so all you will have to do is draw out the eyes, eyebrows, and then the face mask that is part of the ninja suit.
3
Sketch out more of the ninja suit as you see here which includes the rest of the hood, and the shirt. There is no sleeves so all you need to do is draw the shoulders and then the shoulders and upper arm. Lastly draw the strap across his chest.
4
Sketch out more of the suit that is now on his lower torso area. Begin the lining for the pants and then add the wrinkles and creases. Draw more of his arms out and then move to the next step.
5
Finish drawing out the arms and then draw out the hands and the swords. When you are done with this step move to step six where you will be drawing Storm Shadow in more detail.
6
You will start drawing out the shape of his ninja pants and or legs and then make sure you draw the creases and wrinkles when needed.
7
Draw the rest of his legs and then his Tabbi shoes. Thicken the straps and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Another G.I. Joe character for the books and this time it will be yet another bad guy. I am going to teach you “how to draw Storm Shadow from G.I. Joe step by step”. Storm Shadow is a pretty cool character because he is a stealth martial arts expert with poise and grace. He fights like a mad man and he always takes down his man. I had to do a little research on this character from the G.I. Joe series because I am not too familiar with them all like I told you in the past with the tutorial on Duke. Lets try and start at the beginning shall we? First off His real name is Thomas S. Arashikage and he is of Japanese American descent. Storm Shadow has dark hair and dark colored eyes, and he is Cobra Commanders personal assassin and ninja style bodyguard. There is a long bond that he has with Snake Eyes and at first I didn’t understand what that was. So the more I read, the more I learned about the two characters. Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes are actual blood brothers, which basically means that they are not brothers by birth, they just swore loyalty to each other and their clan. Now to me that comes as a surprise, but to some of you, you must be like “duh”. The thing about Storm Shadows character is that he is never one hundred percent loyal to the Cobras. He is always switching sides because of the conflict he faces with his feelings for his blood brother Snake Eyes and the torn loyalty between the Joes and the Cobras. He is almost always seen with a white ninja suit that includes a face mask and all. He sort of reminds me of Scorpion from Mortal Kombat a bit because they both have this outer rage that shows through no matter what. Storm Shadow was both a G.I. Joe agent and a Cobra agent. I found the character to be very interesting and because of that I can’t wait to see the new movie that is still out in theaters called; G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra. I sketched out my own interpretation of Storm Shadow so I hope you guys like this lesson on “how to draw Storm Shadow” from G.I. Joe step by step. I will be back later with two more lessons so stay tuned. Peace out and happy drawing!
