How to Draw Stilettos

The first thing you will need to do is draw the leg guides. This will be for the leg's flow of motion or pose.

Using the first guideline to the right, draw the arched foot, ankle and leg. Don't forget to make the leg shapely with a nice round calf.

You will draw in the other foot, ankle and leg. If the drawing of this leg looks funny to you it's because the whole foot isn't visible because the heel of the foot is inside the shoe.

Here you will draw in the first stiletto heel. Thick sole all around and a nice high heel. I would say that the heel would be about three inches in real life.

You will now draw the shape of the stiletto shoe on the right foot. The heel should also be drawn nice and tall, and the sole should be thick.

Next and lastly, draw the straps on the foot and ankle which is attached to the stiletto heel. Erase the guidelines then you are done.

That's it folks, you just drew a pair of stiletto heels. How do you feel? I hope good because now it's time to color the shoes in.

Description: So here is a lesson that I really like and it's not because I like wearing heels, it's because of the color and style of the legs and feet involved. Up next I will show you "how to draw stilettos", step by step. Now, a stiletto is nothing more then a woman's shoe with a high heel that range in heights from one inch, to ten inches. I don't know what kind of gal would wear a ten inch high stiletto heel, but I know you must need some major practice with walking in one. The stilettos that I show you how to draw are the platform type. Platform heels are simply shoes that have a thick sole. Some woman believe that stiletto platform heels are easier to walk in because there is more of a thick base to the shoe. I myself have never walked in any type of heel so you can take me out of the equation of being a girl that knows what it feels like to wear heels. This lesson is a simple concept and once you learn it, you should be able to draw stiletto heels on any of your female models. See folks and be sure to come back around tomorrow for more fun.
