Description: OK people today we are going to learn how to draw the four popular dudes from Slipknot. In this case I chibi-tized them. So we are technically gonna learn how to draw chibi Joey, Craig, Corey and Mick from Slipknot. There are a total of nine band members and every one of them has their own look with a disturbing mask. These guys I’m guessing are the most popular band members from slipknot. I checked like four polls to see what band member was the most popular of them all. I ended up with drawing only four of members who are Joey, Craig, Corey, and Mick. My personal favorite is the nail headed dude. He reminds me a lot of “Pinhead” from the Hellraiser movie series. I’ve been working on this chibi version of the Slipknot members for a while now. I spent like three hours sketching a booming and rocking pose for these guys. I watched a lot of their music videos and see them jumping high and blasting their screams into the microphone. My other favorite member form this band is Joey. I love how his makeup sets up his face. Anyways, the coloring process for these dudes was pretty easy. I don’t like the colors that they’re seen with. All of their colors are plain black. They have no dynamic look to them…So I tried to add some bleaching white for the background. As you can see there’s a gradient effect on Corey’s hair. I see a lot of his pictures and his hair has this reddish tone to it. You should find this tutorial pretty easy to follow. As you may or may not know, this tutorial was a simple request from one of my friends here on DragoArt. This person gave me an idea of chibi Slipknot band members. I hope you will enjoy this step by step tutorial on how to draw chibi Corey, Mick, Joey and Craig from Slipknot! Enjoy and happy drawing!
