Description: Who is ready for a tutorial on a fun character that almost all of us grew up watching as a kid around the month of December. In this next tutorial I am going to show you how to draw Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. I know that many of you that come to this site have heard of the age old tale of a reindeer named Rudolph that was chosen by Santa himself to pull his sled in the thick dense fog that threatened Christmas one foggy Christmas eve. Let’s talk about the tale of this heroic reindeer for a minute shall we. First off Rudolph was born to famous slay pullers like Donner his father and I’m not quite sure what his mothers name was I think it might have been Vixen. Anyways, Rudolph was born with a very abnormal nose. It wasn’t noticed at first by his parents because it didn’t light up until he got excited. Once his nose lit up like a bright red light bulb, his father knew that all the other reindeers were just gonna laugh at him and not let him participate in any reindeer games. So like any good father he covered up the shiny red nose with a black prosthetic like object so no one would think that his son is some sort of freak. Along the way while Rudolph was in reindeer training to learn how to fly, he met a very nice young female named Clarice. The two became almost inseparable as well as the best of friends. One day while arguing with another reindeer, Rudolph’s prosthetic nose popped off and everyone was incredibly shocked at what they were seeing. Right away he was kicked off the training team. When Santa came to see what all the fuss was about he too was shocked by the recent discovery. Poor Rudolph was embarrassed and ashamed that he let his father down and that all of the North Pole saw him as a freak. His dear friend Clarice was no longer allowed to speak with Rudolph and that lead him into a deep depression. At the same time an elf who worked in the toy making department was also being laughed at because of his differences as well. His name was Hermey and he was considered to be a misfit elf because he wanted to practice dentistry instead of being a toy making Christmas elf. The two of them eventually paired up and went on a long journey and ended up on an island for misfit toys. Rudolph and Hermey were determined to have Santa help these toys find new homes for the holiday season. When the two returned to Santa’s village, there is nothing but chaos and despair because Santa cannot fly out in the strange weather that the North Pole was experiencing. When Rudolph approached Santa in the dense fog, his nose suddenly lit up. Santa saw Rudolph’s ability as a gift from heaven because Rudolph’s bright nose could lead the way thru the skies to make sure that all the toys were delivered to all the boys and girls for Christmas. This is a classic tale on how to embrace the differences that others have. You never know how those very differences can benefit in the end. This tutorial will show you how to draw Rudolph the red nosed reindeer step by step. The instructions are simple to follow which makes this a very easy tutorial to learn from. But before you go, let’s all sing the Christmas song that has been sung by millions of boys and girls around the world during Christmas season. The song goes like this; you know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen. But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, had a very shiny nose. And if you ever saw him, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve Santa came to say: "Rudolph with your nose so bright, won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then all the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee, Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, you'll go down in history!
