Okay are you ready to start this first step? Good, start by drawing a medium sized circle shape for her head and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw out the shape of Regan's jaw or chin. You will then sketch out the shape or outline of her hair

2

Now in this step you will start sketching the lining and flow of her hair as seen. Once that is complete you will draw the almond shape for her eyes and then the lining for her nose and mouth.

3

What do you think so far? Pretty simple right. You will finish off sketching the style of her hair and then start drawing out her pupils (which are dilated and then the skin under her eyes and above her brow as shown. Sketch in the frown lines and ad

Well you have made it to your last drawing step and all you will do here is shade in around and under her eyes and then two dots for her pupils. Add more slice marks and then the lining for her teeth. Her lips are dry, chapped, and cut so you need to

This is what your sketch of Regan should look like when you are done. All you have to do now is color her in. You have just learned how to draw Possessed Regan from The Exorcist step by step.

Description: This next character that I’m about to submit is from a very popular horror movie that is based on demons and exorcism. The character’s name is Regan and she is a twelve year old rich girl that has a mother that is in the acting business. This drawing lesson is going to show you how to draw possessed Regan from "The Exorcist" step by step. This movie is said to be the scariest movie of all time and I have to totally agree. Even though "The Exorcist" was made back in the seventies, it truly has a satanic feel to it that just send chills up your spine. The female actress that plays young Regan did an excellent job for a child, her name is Linda Blair. The way that they used a child to be possessed was simply brilliant. Like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Exorcist was based on true events that took place in 1949 in Maryland. The actual story is based on events that happened to a family and their fourteen year old son John Hoffman. Now before any signs of a demonic possession took place, John and his grandmother use to hear weird sounds throughout their house like scratching on the walls and dripping noises around the house. It wasn’t until the passing of his grandmother that the young boy began having livid red marks on his body that took shape in the form of words. After nobody could explain what was happening to their son, Johns mother went to the Roman Catholic church to seek help in the form of prayers and maybe a bit of holy water. A man named "Father Lawrence," (who was a Jesuit priest), came to visit John in St. Louis, to say prayers in hopes that it would help the young boy. After repeated attempts of prayer to help John the Archbishop of St. Louis gave Father Lawrence permission to begin the formal rite of exorcism. In the movie that priest saved young Regan and Father Lawrence passed on. The story is a true gem that puts faith back into the hearts of people who forgot how powerful the words of God can be. This drawing lesson will show you how to draw Possessed Regan step by step. I will be back in a bit with three more tutorials so stick around.
