How to Draw Maleficent Easy
3
For the headdress that Maleficent wears you will need to draw a large X like shape. This is more like a wrap on the head that acts like a base for the horned hat she wears.
4
Add the crease or folds for the headdress base like so, then draw in the guides on the forehead which is also part of the headdress.
5
You can start drawing her eyes which should begin with the nicely arched eyebrows. Next, sketch out the eye shapes, then draw them in completely. Add lashes, and her stare. Sketch in the left side of the nose bridge and then move to step six.
6
Almost done already folks. All you need to do here is draw the rest of her nose, then draw Maleficent's mouth or lips. I tried making her look like Angelina Jolie as much as possible.
7
For the last step all you have to do is draw in the curled horns starting at the base of the headdress, then add detailing to them as well. You are now finished and can start cleaning up your drawing by erasing the mistakes and guides.

Description: The new Disney movie Maleficent looks like it's going to be good despite the cast. Even though I know there is already a lesson on Angelina Jolie's character, I wanted to make a simplified version of the going to be popular figure. Here is my take on "how to draw Maleficent easy", step by step. I love how this lesson came out. Her face, stare, eyes, everything makes drawing Maleficent easy worth the while. Every once and again Disney will come out with something great and I think this is going to be one of those great films. The visuals are simply amazing and all the special effects are really cool. There will be fairies and beasts, wizards and sorcerers. I hope you enjoy this tut folks, I will be back so stick around.
