How to Draw Kip, Napoleon Dynamite

Step 1.


Begin with a circle for his head and then sketch out the facial guidelines and then draw the body guide.

Step 2.


Draw in his huge almost bifocal eyeglasses, which is also the frame design.

Step 3.


Up next, draw the actual face shape starting on the right side since you are looking at him on your screen. If your back was turned to him it would be your left side. Once the face is drawn out, you can star sketching the eyes, eyebrows, his nose, an   

Step 4.


Continue to work on the face until its completely drawn in. Make sure to add the ear on the "left" side of the face like so, and then incorporate the shape of the neck. Draw in his neatly combed hairstyle. As you can see he sports a due that is parte   

Step 5.


We will now complete Kip off by drawing in his torso in the form of a shirt. Draw the folded collar first starting at the bottom of the neck, and then draw the buttons, sleeves, sleeve cuffs, and then his arms and slightly bumped belly. Add a bit of

Look how awesome Kip looks now that you are done. Color him in and add Kip to your Napoleon Dynamite drawing collection.

Description: Here's a tutorial on Kip from Napoleon Dynamite, one of my favorite yet one of the most annoying since his voice lingers through your mind. His high pitch lisp and squeak, yikes! I love drawing the entire original cast in cartoon form because I dig the film so much. One of the other things I love about Kip is how he thinks he knows everything. He is such a spas, but in a totally good way. Kip attempts to boos Napoleon around quite a bit too but I don't think he will get anywhere that that type of attitude or personality. All the cartoon versions of all the characters that will be airing with the new Fox series are very simple to draw which makes tackling these tutorials so much fun. I will say again how I like seeing the recreated versions of Kip, Deb, Pedro, Rico, and Napoleon look so much like they do in the movie. Have fun with this tutorial on "how to draw Kip", step by step and I will get going with uploading a pretty cool character from the Skylanders game. Peace out people and enjoy!
