Description: I am really excited about these next few tutorial lessons that I will be submitting today. I worked really hard on them and unfortunately they are not lessons that were requested by members. Instead I decided to draw some characters from the past that I like very much. My first tutorial is going to be on "how to draw a Gremlins" Stripe step by step. For those of you that watched the movie Gremlins, you will be familiar with this character from the flick. Before I get into the character description I have to tell you what exactly Stripe is and how he came about. There was this man named Randal Peltzer who wanted to buy his son a very special gift for Christmas. He came across a very odd shop located in China Town New York. He walked in to see if there was something interesting to buy for his son Billy. After a little while in the shop he was eventually introduced to a being called a “Mogwai”. The old shop owner refuses to sell the odd creature to Randall even after he offered to give him two hundred dollars for him. The old mans grandson secretly sold the mogwai to Mr. Peltzer and warned him of three things that he must never do; let the mogwai in the light especially sunlight, never spill water on them, and never, never feed him after midnight. Of course he didn't take those three instructions seriously, instead he brought home the mogwai and named him Gizmo. A few days after Christmas Billy's friend comes over and accidentally spills water on Gizmo and out pops five fury balls that eventually form into other mogwais. These mogwai were different, they had a dark side to them. The leader Spike is the one that planed everything, from unplugging the alarm clock so that they can eat after midnight, to acting like he was a regular mogwai. Once the five mogwai eat after midnight they turned into these cocoon looking eggs where they became something more sinister and evil. They were no longer mogwai, they were now gremlins. Stripe was the leader still and his plan was to infest the world with a bunch of gremlins to dominate everyone and everything. Stripe got his name because he had a white strip in the middle of his head. Although Spike and his gang of gremlins did some massive destruction, Billy and Kate wind up killing Stripe and his gang. Of course the innocent Gizmo helped just a bit but not much. This tutorial will show you "how to draw a Gremlin", Stripe step by step. All the instructions are laid out for you so that it will be easy for you to accomplish this tutorial lesson. I have also included extra steps for to show you how to draw his head from the back and front. I am going to leave now, but I shall return. Peace out peeps.
