How to Draw Gizmo

Step 1.


Draw an oval egg like circle for the head of Gizmo and then add the facial guidelines. You will draw out the lower body shape which is also an egg shape. Add the arm lines and then the hand lines.

Step 2.


In this step you will use the facial guidelines that you drew in step one and draw out the eye circles. Next draw out his little nose and then start sketching out the facial fur markings on his face and then around the head. Since you are sketching o   

Step 3.


You will sketch out the heavily haired body and then sketch out and draw out the other side of Gizmo's head. Add a line for his cute mouth and then eyelids on his bug looking eyes.

Step 4.


You will start sketching out the shape of his big bat like ears and then detail the cartilage part on the top of the ear. Next draw in the eyes and pupils and add some fur or hair detailing to his face. Sketch in more marking lines on his body and th   

Step 5.


Color in the pupils and the color of his eyes which is brown and then start sketching in more fluffy hair definition and detailing. You will then start drawing out the beginning lines for Gizmo's hands and then move to the next step.

Step 6.


Now since Gizmo is sitting down you will draw out the feet which will only show the bottom of his small cute three toes feet. Finish drawing out his hands and add nail lining. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one so that you    

Step 7.


Once you are done your line art should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color Gizmo in brown and white. You have just finished this tutorial on how to draw Gizmo mogwai from Gremlins step by step.

Description: I hope you all liked Spike the Gremlin that I submitted for you all. I thought it would only be right to do a tutorial on another Gremlin character from the movie that I think you will all know and love. So, without further ado, let me teach you "how to draw Gizmo" the mogwai from Gremlins step by step. Gizmo is the sweet adorable little guy that is brown and whit in color. He is the pet of Billy Peltzer that was given to him by his father when he was in China Town on a business trip. The movie “Gremlins” was written by Chris Columbus and directed by Joe Dante. Back in 1984 the movie became a smash hit and pop culture phenomenon. Soon after the movie was released, toys and plushies of the gremlins characters started being produced and sold. The favorited character in the movie was a mogwai named Gizmo and his character was kind, sweet, gentle, and he loved everyone. Gizmo loved to sing and watch TV and he often talked as well; or at least tried to. His original owner was an old Chinese man named Mr. Wing and he had a young grandson that he took care of and looked after. Though Mr. Wing did not want to sell the harmless mogwai, his grandson ran out of the shop and sold it to Mr. Peltzer for two hundred dollars. There is two part to the Gremlins movie; Gremlins, and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. In the first Gremlins it was Gizmo that killed Spike by pulling the window shade up and exposing the sun onto Spikes body. Little loveable Gizmo was later sent back to New York to live with Mr. Wing so that no other accidents will happen again. Of course because part one was such a success, they came out with a part two and Gizmo gets kidnapped by a mad scientist after Mr. Wing was killed. If it wasn't for a mailman that was out delivering mail one day singing Gizmo's song, he would have never known that Gizmo was around and near somewhere. All in all both movies were good with my favorite being the first. This tutorial will show you how to draw Gizmo mogwai from Gremlins step by step.
