Here you will sketch out the structure of the face like so, and notice how Derek is being drawn on a 3/4 view scale.

Using the facial guides you made in step one, begin sketching out the shapes of his eyes like so. You will then need to draw the top lids ad thicken the crease line too. Next, draw the iris in both eyes and color in some pupils. Once the eyes are all

You will now start sketching out his nose, and then draw in the mouth, lips, smile, teeth, and then lightly sketch in the frown lines and skin texture detailing. Draw the right ear and then add his hair line where the sideburns would be.
5
The face is all done. All that is left to do is draw out his Yankee cap and notice how the lid looks nice and stiff. Don't leave this step without drawing in the New York Yankees symbol.
6
For the last drawing step, you will sketch out his neck and then draw the shirt collar as well as the shoulders and stripes on his baseball uniform. Add some tweaks here and there, and then clean up the drawing.

Description: Hello everyone in Dragoart land, welcome to another fun filled day where we will be tackling various lessons based on different types of things. Today we will begin by tackling a task on a very popular baseball player that has a very distinctive style of playing the game, as well as being a very distinct looking person. If I didn’t mention before, we will be learning "how to draw Derek Jeter", step by step. Derek Sanderson Jeter was born on June 26, 1974 to Sanderson Jeter, and Dorothy Jeter in Pequannock New Jersey. Derek was raised in a very structural manner and he was even taught to grow up with a positive attitude on life. When Derek was in high school he began playing baseball. He later received honors as being one of the best high school baseball players in Michigan. In 1992 he was signed to the New York Yankees for eight hundred thousand dollars. Early on scouts and coaches knew that Derek Jeter would one day make it into the Baseball Hall of Fame. From 1992 to 1995, Jeter was in the minor leagues. He made his way to becoming a major league baseball player the same year he starred in major league. Since 1995, Derek Jeter has been giving his fans what they want and he will continue to do so. I had a blast drawing Derek Jeter, and if you are a baseball or Yankee’s fan, you will not only love this lesson, you will also have fun drawing out his face. I will be back in a few so stay tuned in to Dragoart.com.
