Start by drawing out the shape of his head, and then draw out a bell like shape for the body like so. When that is done you can draw in the guidelines for the face and legs.

Now you can begin sketching out the structure of his face, and then draw in his messy styled hair. When that is done be sure to add some detailing and definition to make the hair look real thin and edgy.

Completely draw in Dan's face which should include the round friendly looking eyes, and then draw out the brows, nose and mouth. Draw the inner ear detailing as well.

Draw the small piece of beard, as well as all the scruffy looking marks on his face for his five o'clock shadow. Then draw out the neck and shirt collar.

Here you will draw out Dan's upper body starting with the shoulders, and shirt sleeves. Next, draw out his arms and hands, and then move to step six.

You're almost done guys all you need to do now is draw out the shirt lining and then draw out his pants. Be sure to sketch in the pant detailing at the bottom of his slacks.

Finally, draw out Dan's shoes and then the soles. You can start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

Description: There are three characters that I am going to submit from a show that is gaining popularity. I know it is becoming popular because I have been getting requests for three figures from the series. The show is called “Dan Vs”, and it airs on The Hub Network. To start, I will teach you "how to draw Dan", step by step. Dan reminds me a lot of Al Bundy from “Married with Children” because they are two guys that seem to be mad at the world, and often hold grudges against everyone and everything. The truth is, like Al, Dan is a soft hearted guy that is very sensitive when it comes to family and friends. His look and style is sort of grungy, and he is also considered to be the hero of the series. I don’t know too much about Dan, but I can certainly show you "how to draw Dan Vs" easily. I do believe that you will have fun with this tutorial and because the characters belong together, I will submit them in order. Have fun people and be sure to keep those requests rolling in.
