How to Draw Asuna, Asuna From Negima

1

You will need to start drawing a circle for the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines.

2

What you will do now is sketch out her parted bangs which should be very puffy. The ends should also be sharp or pointed as well.

3

Draw out the bottom portion of her face, then draw in the short pieces of hair that hug her face.

4

Using the facial guidelines you will need to draw out the eyes, nose and mouth. Color in the upper parts of her eyes like you see here, then draw in some thin eyebrows. Cap off the back of the head with more head, then sketch in some detailing to her

5

We will work on getting her torso drawn out. Start with the neck, then draw in the shoulders, arm lines, then add definition to her neck by adding the collar bones.

6

All you have to do here is draw in the ribbons and bells on her hair which will be for the pig tails.

7

Lastly, draw the pigtails which should be thick, long and full of body. Sketch in all the strand lines to detail the hair and to add texture. Erase your mistakes so you have a clean image to color in.

8

That's it, you have finished this tutorial on drawing Asuna. I hope you enjoyed this lesson, now you can go ahead and color her in.

Description: So I will start my day by uploading a lesson based on an anime character that may be familiar to all you fans out there that follow Negima!: Magister Negi Magi. This girl has all the brains as well as brawn when it comes to living life as she pleases. Today I will be filling a request and show you "how to draw Asuna Kagurazaka", step by step. She is a red headed ball of fire that has a bad attitude and a fiery personality. One of my favorite things about this character is her vibrant colors and character design. She is an older teen that is one of the main figures of the series. The series was created by Ken Akamatsu. From the lessons picture you would think that she is a pretty mild tempered gal, but that is the farthest thing from the truth. Asuna is actually pretty violent. She also has little patience for the lead male character in the series. No matter what though, you will still enjoy drawing Asuna because she is still a very pleasant looking figure to replicate. I will be back with some more fun so stay tuned in to see what else I have in store for ya'll. Adios people and have fun!
