First, for your guidelines, draw a triangle shape attached to a stick. DO NOT skip this step because it helps create the foundation of your drawing.

Now, draw out the basic shape for the guitar. It should look like what you see in this picture.

For this step, draw the individual frets on the neck of the guitar and the knobs which should be on the side of the headstock.

This is where your drawing gets crowded. All you have to do for this step is to add in the six strings and then the bridge which holds the strings in place.

Next, you will draw the inlays on the neck of the guitar. All they are are little shapes. Lastly, draw the whammy bar.

To finish off your image, draw in some pickups underneath the strings and circular knobs right by the whammy bar. Also add in some lines on the bridge.

This is probably what your drawing looks like now that you're finished. Erase the guidelines drawn in step one and then color the guitar if you want. Please rate and comment this tutorial, and I'll be back with some more tuts in the future. Peace out
