How to Draw an Andalite from Animorphs
1
Okay, in this first step, you are going to draw the basic outline of the Andalite. In the series, their is an Andalite named Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill and since this one has no name, let's just say this is Ax.
2
Now draw the stalks that lead to an eye. Begin the right arm and the tail. Begin some of his torso and start two of his legs.
3
Draw all four of his eyes and finish the arm. Draw the left arm. Sketch out the slits/nose - remember, they don't have mouths. This tutorial was hard because Andalites sort of look like people so I had to really work on this. Finish the tail and the
4
Draw out each finger on each hand - 14 in all with 7 on each hand. That's a lot of fingers! Draw the back and the tip of the tail. Finish the first leg and draw the last leg. Draw the hooves on the other legs.
5
Finally, draw the muscles on Ax's chest and draw the sharp scythe (I don't think that's how you spell it). Finish the hoof and draw muscle lines in the legs.

Description: Hey people! I am back with another tutorial on an Andalite! They were created by one of my 3 idols, K. A. Applegate! K.A. Applegate wrote a lot of the books - and I admire her. She is my idol for writing. Beatrix Potter is my idol for art and Jane Goodall is my idol for the environment. Okay, back to the tutorial. An Andalite has no mouth, as you can see, so as they run, they pick up grasses through their hooves. Their deadly looking tail can mover REALLY fast. So fast that you don't even see it move! For the background, I really didn't have any good ideas for one. So I tried to make grass but I failed.:( The head took me sooo long because I was coloring it from the real picture so I think the head is the best. The body I did quickly because after this, I was going to be gone for the rest of the week. So I just finished it now. I hope you like this tutorial! I worked hard on it! Oh no! I was just looking at the pic now and I noticed some of the green went of the tail. Oh well. You can also clearly so that the head looks way better than the body.
