1

Make two shapes, one for the head, and the other for the body. Sketch in a single facial guideline.

2

Sketch out the side of the triceratops head which should include the horns, shape of the snout, and face.

3

Finish drawing the head by making the fan like bone design like so. When that is done draw the body, front and back legs, then the belly. Add the toes on each foot as well.

4

Draw in the other leg and foot like so, then draw the tail, add the large eye, then draw the pupil.

5

Lastly, sketch in all the scales scattered on the body, as well as the shapes of the bones on the ends of the head. Add some final detailing like so, then erase the mistakes.

6

Here is your triceratops for kids. Color it in, then you're done.

Description: It's dinosaur time folks so here is "how to draw a triceratops for kids", step by step. This cute dinosaur reminds me of Cera from Littlefoot. Drawing dinosaurs are really fun because you can make some really nice textured skin with different types of scale or bone patches. The simple design will prove to be easy to replicate. Kids love dinosaurs, and so do adults. What better way to have fun with them then to spend some family time together and draw a triceratops for kids. I will be back momentarily so be sure to come back around or stick around. Peace out people.
