Description:
Cats of the wild are some of the most beautiful and fascinating creatures to ever walk the earth. I am a big animal nut, and when it comes to felines I love learning about their species. Now, I have all sorts of tutorials on big cats like lions, tigers, panthers, pumas, cougars, and some others I can't think of right now. However, there is one cat that I do not have, and that is the one you will be getting a lesson on today. I will show you "how to draw a snow leopard", step by step. This species of animal is one of the more prettiest out of all the wild felines in existence. They are best known for their beautiful thick white fur that has scattered spots all over their bodies. Sometimes the fur of a snow leopard can be a yellowish or light gray color depending on the gene. Does a snow leopard really live in cold climates? Yes they do. These animals have so many layers of fur, they are virtually one of the warmest species of their kind along side of the polar bear. Not only do their hides have thick layers, their paws, and tails are very dense with fur as well. Compared to a human, the snow leopard is only about two feet tall and anywhere from six to eight feet long. You would think that an animal of this size weighs a lot too right? Wrong, the average weight of one of these cats is only about ninety pounds, but not more then one hundred twenty. As with other cats of the wild, they are also carnivores and their daily diets consists of sheep, goats, rabbits, birds, and even rats and other rodents. As you can also imagine, these stunning animals are considered rare, and they are on the endangered species list with only about three to seven thousand left in the wild, and from six to seven hundred of that number are in zoos across the globe. They thrive in altitudes between ten thousand feet, to seventeen thousand feet. About sixty percent live in the mountains of Central Asia, but they can also be found in places like Russia, India, and Kazakstan. They are solitary animals that enjoy being left alone, which is why it is so hard to determine exact numbers, and lifespan for these creatures. How loud can a snow leopard roar? If you guessed as loud as a lion, you're wrong. The fact is, these cats have no roar at all because they are unable to do so. Weird huh? Anyways, this tutorial should be fun for you all because you will learn βhow to draw a snow leopardβ, step by step. I will be back with two more lessons for you all, and I promise they will be βcuteβ. Peace out folks, and have a happy drawing day!
