1

Start with the top or crown of the sandcastle and when you do this you can make as may peaks as you like. I just kept it simple.

2

Next, draw the soft flowing sand at the base of your sandcastle like so.

3

You will draw in another tower to add to the sandcastle structure like so. I made this one taller and slender then the first.

4

Here we have another tower. But this one is more of a cylinder shape because it will have a roof instead of a pronged top.

5

Cap off the top of the third tower with a triangular point like so.

6

Now add some detailing to the tops of each tower, then draw and color in some windows. It's as easy as that. Erase the mistakes you might have made.

7

That's it, you are all done. Now just color in your drawing and show folks that you not only know how to make a sandcastle, you also know how to draw one.

Description: Summer is almost over and there are kids already going back to school. For those of you who are still enjoying the beach life I thought I would make a lesson on "how to draw a sandcastle" before Labor Day which is the day that Summer officially ends or on September 22nd. But by that time no one is building sandcastles anymore. When I was a kid I used to love building sandcastles, mud structures or anything I could get my hands on that be be shaped and formed into some kind of building. This lesson is great for those of you who like drawing summer themed art or who just want to have some simple fun. That's about it folks, I have a couple more tuts coming your way so keep your eyes peeled for them all.
