How to Draw a Rattlesnake

First, start with the very simple and rough guidelines.

Next, draw the head for the snake as well as the infamous slanted/angry eye and brow.

Next, draw the ridges above his upper jaw and the forked tongue.

Let's shape the first half of his body that will be overlapping the rest of his body.

Lastly, draw the rest of his body as well as the simple rattle!

Description: h my goodness, I can't remember the last time I drew a rattlesnake. These snakes are just sooo cool and as a child, I always thought it's rattle tail was the weirdest mutation I've ever seen on a snake. My favorite snakes as a kid were the anacondas and cobras, because their faces were just so hostile looking. Anyways, enjoy this new lesson!
