Yes it's true that this extremely popular blue colored dragon like species invaded Neopia without warning. As a matter of fact it almost seems like the mysterious species dropped straight out from another planet, oh wait, I'm sorry, he does come from another planet called Meridell. As most of you neoaddicts know, Meridell is a medieval style land, and like most medieval style lands, it is filled with knights, kings, wizards, witches, and cool magic straight from Neopias' past. The Draik was actually released by Neopets in 2002 and since then it is one of the rarest pet you can find. Now, according to the Neopets trading card game, the Draik is only about 3 feet tall and was also an experimental creature. But from the large popularity count, this dragon like pet is here to stay. If you don't have a Draik no worries because a user can purchase a morphing potion to turn one of their other pets into a Draik if they wish, but this option can be quite pricey.
